When you sign up for duty with the 5th Texas Co E, you're joining one of the oldest and most well-respected outfits in the nation. We encourage recruits

to actively pursue the most authentic portrayal and experience possible. We are not only going to events to camp and have fun, but we're also showing

people what it was like to be a real soldier in the Civil War.

We are located mostly in southeast and mid Michigan. We are eager to see you out at an event - if you're interested stop by our recruiting tent and talk to

one of the guys for a few minutes. You'll see that we are the best in the Mid-West and are eager to help!
